TUARAN: Sept 12, 2026 — Classical music fans in Sabah will be treated to a Western classical vocal performance through “Between Breath & Keys: Classical Voice Recital”, which will be held in Tuaran tonight.
Organised by Fortissimo Music Studio, the recital will feature works from the Western classical music tradition in Italian, German, French, Latin, English and Indonesian.
The one-hour-30-minute performance will feature Rhowell Rolland as soloist and Euler Majanil as pianist, as well as the involvement of Nathalia Atena, mezzo-soprano, and Aamanda Peter, soprano.
According to the organisers, the performance also brings an approach to introduce classical singing techniques and art to a wider audience.
“Classical is the foundation of any type of singing because classical singing techniques can be applied to other singing genres.”
The recital, scheduled from 8pm to 9.30pm, will open its doors to the audience at 7.30pm.
