KOTA KINABALU: Oct 27, 2026 — The voice of Sabah government employees is now reaching state leaders more closely, through Koperasi Pekerja-Pekerja Kerajaan Sabah Berhad’s (KOPEKS) efforts to strengthen cooperation with the State Government.
That was the significance of the meeting between Deputy Chief Minister II and Sabah Finance Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Masidi Manjun and KOPEKS leaders at his office today.
During the meeting, Masidi received a copy of local newspaper Kinabalu Media, published by KOPEKS, presented by its Chairman Datuk Dr. Saat Ag Damit.
Masidi expressed his appreciation for the meeting and for the effort to publish Kinabalu Media as a medium for conveying information on state government policies and initiatives to the people of Sabah.
“Cooperation like this is what helps the people understand the government’s direction,” he said.
Saat, meanwhile, expressed his highest appreciation for Masidi’s suggestions and advice in supporting KOPEKS’ development and planning.
KOPEKS also expressed its appreciation to the Sabah State Government for its meaningful support in helping the cooperative strengthen its role for the wellbeing of its members.
The meeting reflected the close relationship between the state government and the government employees’ cooperative in ensuring that development benefits reach the people of Sabah.
