KOTA KINABALU: September 9, 2026 — Sabah athlete Renoddry Remey clinched the gold medal in the men’s 400m T20 event at the Para SUKMA Selangor 2026, clocking a time of 49.48 seconds.
The Form Five student of the Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI) recorded a personal best in the final, held at the UiTM Stadium in Shah Alam on Sept 7.

Renoddry successfully dipped below the 50-second mark for the first time in the 400m, outpacing the Kelantan representative who took silver with a time of 49.75 seconds.
Previously, Renoddry won gold in the 400m event at the national-level Vocational College Games (SUKOV) last August.
Keningau Vocational College director Lumang anak Lang said the achievement proved that PPKI students possess the capability to compete at the national level.
