KOTA KINABALU: July 18, The family of a Sabah man, Allen Scoot Willfraid, 26, have appealed for public assistance in locating him after he was reported missing in Cambodia, with no contact for more than a month.
According to a statement from his family, Allen travelled to Cambodia for work purposes last year and was last in touch with them on 10 June 2026.
The family said a police report regarding his disappearance was filed on 20 June 2026, but to date they have received no updates on his whereabouts.
Based on records from the Find My iPhone application, Allen’s last known location was in the Phsar Kandal area of Poipet, Cambodia.
The family believes Allen went to Cambodia together with a friend, having been recruited through an agent for employment.
They also clarified that the photograph shared publicly shows Allen alongside his friend – with Allen being the individual wearing a black shirt, while his friend is in white.
In light of this, the family is appealing for cooperation from the authorities, the media, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the public to help channel any information that could assist in tracing Allen.

The family hopes Allen will be found safe and well, and expressed their gratitude for any assistance, prayers and support extended by the public.
