PENAMPANG: Sept 16. 2026 — The Narcotics Crime Investigation Division (BSJND) of the Penampang District Police Headquarters (IPD Penampang) conducted an inspection operation at an entertainment outlet in the district in an effort to combat drug abuse.
The operation, which ended in the early hours of this morning, inspected 17 individuals, comprising 11 men and six women.
All of them underwent initial urine screening tests and tested negative for all types of drugs.
No arrests were made during the operation.
IPD Penampang will continue to conduct inspections and monitoring from time to time on entertainment premises in the district to curb drug abuse activities.
The measure also aims to ensure the environment of entertainment premises remains safe and under control.
