GIANYAR: Aug 14, 2026 – Sabah FC kicked off their pre-season campaign in the 2026 Dewata Challenge Series with a 2-1 victory over Bali United at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium last night.
Park Jung-bin opened the scoring for Sabah in the 18th minute.
Bali United equalised six minutes later through Rahmat Arjuna.
Gonzalo Di Renzo put Sabah back in front during first-half stoppage time, in the 45+1st minute.
No goals were scored in the second half, with Sabah’s defensive line holding firm until the final whistle despite increased pressure from Bali United.
The match was an international friendly for Sabah FC as part of their preparations for the new season.
