KOTA KINABALU: Oct 8, 2026 – The Legends Charity Dinner organised by Karyawan will gather a line-up of renowned local artistes at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu on Nov 6 to raise funds and help arts practitioners in need.
Karyawan chairman Dato’ Khatijah Ibrahim said proceeds from the event would be channelled to artistes and industry workers facing hardship, including singers, actors, songwriters and behind-the-scenes crew.
She said the assistance would be extended to both emerging and veteran artistes who had been involved in the industry.
According to her, the Legends Charity Dinner in Sabah would be the second edition held at SICC and the fifth event in the Legends series, following previous editions in Kuala Lumpur, Sabah and Sarawak.
She added that Sabah was among the destinations favoured by artistes for performances due to its more relaxed atmosphere.
The event, themed ‘Senandung Hidup Berbudi’, will feature a line-up of legendary artistes and Sabah-based talents, including Dato’ Hattan, Dato’ Ramli Sarip, Dato’ Khadijah Ibrahim, Datin Sa’adiah, Bella Astillah, Velvet Aduk, Ayu Damit and Hairee Kool.
K.O.I, which was crowned champion of the 40th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL40) with its hit song Tiwikarma, is also scheduled to make a special appearance during the event.
Khatijah said the combination of established artistes and emerging talents would provide an opportunity for them to share the stage and exchange experiences in the entertainment industry.
Individual tickets are priced at RM300, while table packages for 10 people are available under several categories – Bronze at RM3,000, Silver at RM5,000, Gold at RM10,000, Platinum at RM50,000 and Diamond at RM100,000.
The Legends Charity Dinner will be held at 8pm on November 6, 2026, at SICC, Kota Kinabalu, with proceeds channelled to the Karyawan Malaysia Welfare Fund.
