KOTA KINABALU: Sept 6, 2026 – Family harmony can enhance the dedication and quality of service delivery among civil servants, said State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman when officiating the PUSPANITA Sabah Branch Family Fun Day programme at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort, Pantai Dalit, Tuaran yesterday.
He said family well-being is important in helping civil servants carry out their responsibilities more effectively, thereby benefiting service delivery to the people.

“When harmony begins at home, the dedication and quality of public service delivery can automatically be improved for the prosperity of the people and the state of Sabah,” he said.
Zainudin said family day programmes are not merely recreational activities but also serve as a platform to strengthen relationships among public service personnel and support work-life balance.

He added that women’s development in Sabah continues to be strengthened through various policies, entrepreneurship programmes and social support initiatives implemented by the State Government.
He said these efforts also focus on improving family economies in both urban and rural areas, including helping women increase household income while reducing the poverty gap, particularly among the B40 group.

“If we look at the latest statistics, the number of women holding senior positions in the state government administration has been steadily increasing and has now exceeded 30 per cent,” he said.
Zainudin also urged PUSPANITA members to continue strengthening integrity, professionalism and teamwork in carrying out their respective duties.

The programme was attended by nearly 600 participants and also reached out to orphans from Home Tuaran and Jireh Home.
Also present were Kota Kinabalu Mayor Datuk Seri Dr. Sabin Samitah and PUSPANITA Kota Kinabalu District Branch Chairperson Datin Seri Adreen Aderizza Mohamad Sofi.
