TAMBUNAN: July 25, 2025 – Change begins with each individual, and no village should ever be dismissed as too small to develop, a community leader has said.
Dato’ Victor Peter Paut made the call when launching the inaugural Prime Community Work Programme in Kampung Sunsuron, Tambunan, on Saturday.
He urged residents to stay united and not to be easily swayed by slander, but instead to evaluate development based on facts and the government’s track record.
Victor, who is also the head of the Tambunan division of Parti PGRS, said communal work was a symbol of unity and community strength.
“A clean village reflects disciplined residents; a united village will be respected and able to face challenges,” he said.
He expressed confidence that Kampung Sunsuron could become a model village – clean, progressive, peaceful and held in high esteem.
He also reminded the public that political stability under the GRS government guarantees continued development and the welfare of the people.
