KUALA LUMPUR: Sept 28, 2026 – The Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) raided an entertainment centre in the Jalan Klang Lama area here on Sept 26, detaining four foreign nationals.
The operation, which began at 12.05am, involved officers from the Special Operations Intelligence Division of the Immigration Headquarters in Putrajaya and the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK).
Following a month of intelligence gathering, the operation led to the detention of three Chinese men and one Filipino man, aged between 21 and 31.
Preliminary checks found that none of them possessed valid travel documents or passes to be in Malaysia.
The entertainment centre offered foreign dance performances to local patrons and foreign nationals in the Klang Valley, with charges of between RM53 and RM700 depending on drinks and table bookings.
The centre is believed to have been operating since last year.
All detainees are being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63. Three local men were also issued notices to appear at the Putrajaya Immigration Office to assist in investigations.
