KOTA KINABALU: 14 July 2026 – Sabahan singer Elica Paujin has advanced to the finals of the InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA) 2026 with her song “Oh Huminodun”.
The track has been named a finalist in the Asian Folk category, according to the official list released by the competition organisers.
It is among the selected works representing Malaysia at the international contest, which features musical entries from various countries.
“Oh Huminodun” showcases Sabah’s cultural heritage and the legend of Huminodun. The song previously received recognition when it was shortlisted among the top five in the Best Ethnic Song category at the 24th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM).
The InterContinental Music Awards is an international competition that brings together artists and works from multiple countries across a wide range of music genres.
Based on the official announcement, the winners for the 2026 edition will be unveiled on 23 August 2026 during an online awards ceremony.
