KOTA KINABALU: 2 April 2026 – The Sabah Law Society (SLS) has clarified that the rescheduling of case management in the Sabah 40% rights case is purely procedural and does not affect the substance of the case.

The e-review, originally set for today, has been moved to April 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Court of Appeal in Putrajaya.

SLS stressed that the development involves only scheduling and has no bearing on the substantive matters before the court.

It added that the constitutional questions at the heart of the case remain active and pending determination.

The society said it will continue to monitor developments and keep the public informed.
