KOTA KINABALU, April 4, 2026 – Hyweb Malaysia Technology Sdn Bhd, the company behind the ZUBA Visit Malaysia Snap & Win campaign, has been officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for achieving the title of “Most ‘Visit Malaysia’ Sunbear Mascot Designs in a Campaign”, with a total of 108 unique Sunbear mascot designs installed across Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The recognition ceremony was held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grace Point Food Court, Jalan Sembulan, and was attended by industry leaders, government representatives, merchants, media, and influencers.

“This achievement reflects creativity, dedication, and significant contributions in promoting Malaysia through innovative design. Congratulations to Hyweb Malaysia Technology Sdn Bhd,” said MBOR representative Siti Hajar.
She added that MBOR continues to inspire Malaysian brands to push boundaries towards excellence.
Meanwhile, ZUBA Marketing Director Nick Tsao said, “When we started the Snap & Win campaign, the idea was simple to bring people out to explore and experience Sabah in a fun way. But more importantly, we wanted to connect people, businesses, and tourism.”
He added that each of the 108 Sunbear mascots represents a business, a story, and a unique creative identity.
“Behind every mascot is a merchant who believed in this idea. This recognition belongs to all of you.”
The campaign also contributes to raising awareness of sun bear conservation in Sabah.
“When businesses come together and creativity meets purpose, we can create something meaningful. This is just the beginning,” he said.
ZUBA plans to expand the initiative by involving more merchants and enhancing interactive experiences for both tourists and locals.
