PUTRAJAYA: Sept 9, 2026 — The prices of RON97, unsubsidised RON95 and unsubsidised diesel will increase by 25 sen per litre effective tomorrow, driven by a rise in global crude oil prices amid the ongoing US-Iran conflict and supply disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the new prices will take effect from Sept 10 to 16.

RON97 is set at RM4.50 per litre, unsubsidised RON95 at RM4.02 per litre, and unsubsidised diesel at RM4.92 per litre.

Subsidised fuel prices remain unchanged, with RON95 under the BUDI95 programme at RM1.99 per litre and diesel under BUDI Diesel at RM2.10 per litre.

For sectors receiving subsidies through SKPS and SKDS, RON95 stays at RM2.05 per litre while diesel remains at RM2.15 per litre.

The government will continue to monitor global crude oil price developments to ensure an adequate national fuel supply and safeguard the people’s welfare.
