KOTA BELUD: September 8, 2026 — A local man, aged 23, was found hanging inside a room of an unnumbered house in this district, and was later pronounced dead by a medical officer from Kota Belud Hospital at approximately 4:20 PM yesterday.
Police received a report regarding the incident on September 7, 2026.
Preliminary investigations found no criminal elements detected, while the victim was taken to the Forensic Unit of Kota Belud Hospital for a post-mortem.
Police are still conducting investigations to identify the cause of the incident and have classified the case as Sudden Death Report (SDR).
The public is advised not to make any speculations that could affect the investigation.
