KOTA KINABALU: Oct 31, 2026 – Perkasa Trading Sdn. Bhd. (PTSB) is strengthening its collaborative network among suppliers, contractors and construction industry players in Sabah and Labuan through the organisation of the PTSB Infra Solutions Mini-Expo 2026 at its Kolombong branch here.
The two-day expo, which began on 29 October, was officiated by Tanjung Keramat State Assemblyman (ADUN) N.24, Shah Alfie Yahya, on 29 October.
PTSB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO), is now expanding its role as a One-Stop Procurement Partner to provide various construction material needs and infrastructure solutions.
The exhibition featured product displays from strategic suppliers, including steel materials, precast concrete, cement, premix, pavement, geotextile, gabion, protective coatings and wall panels.
Visitors also had the opportunity to obtain consultation services on construction material specifications and attend special briefings on construction material requirements for the SMJ Housing Programme.

PTSB also provided briefings on credit facilities to help local contractors, particularly those involved in the implementation of the SMJ Housing Programme and district development projects, manage costs including cash flow more efficiently.
According to Shah Alfie, the construction and engineering industry is currently facing various challenges, including supply chain uncertainties, rising raw material costs and the need for compliance with quality standards.
“The organisation of this expo serves as a platform to connect government agencies, local authorities, contractors and strategic suppliers to strengthen cooperation in the sector,” he added.
The event also provided business matching opportunities as well as a channel for direct discussions with PTSB’s sales team and suppliers for quotations, tender specifications and purchase orders.
The initiative is expected to strengthen PTSB’s role as a key supplier and strategic industry partner, thereby supporting the implementation of infrastructure development projects in Sabah and Labuan.
